Well before the latest firmware it took 20 minutes to get to 225, 250, or 600 regardless of outdoor temp. I’ve done two cooks both at 250 last two days since updating firmware to 4008. Yesterday took 30 minutes to get to 250, seems less to stall at 200 for 15 minutes but it was extremely windy with avg being 20mpgh. Today took 20 minutes to hit 250 but then dropped to 200 for and took 5 minutes to get back to 250. Feels like the new firmware doesn’t run the fans as high on lower temps. Haven’t tried high temp yet. Also the fan doesn’t seem to rev up as much after opening and shutting the lid. Though that’s only based on feeling from two times.

Sounds like exactly what is was seeing as well.

Here is what my replacement grill exactly did:

Time to 500 degrees was 14.5 minutes
Time to 550 was 16.45 minutes
Time to 600 was exactly 19 minutes.

My EX 4 is about the same. We are both in Florida where it is already summer.... might have some effect.
