Android app battery drain.

I have noticed that the 2 times I have used the Weber Connect app with my Galaxy S10 (burn in and a pizza cook) that the battery drain was considerable. Has anyone else noticed this? I am running the latest software/firmware on everything.

I have a galaxy S10 that I use with my SmokeFire, and have not had a battery issue. In fact, this week I did an 8 hour low and slow smoke on a pork belly without any significant loss of charge, but I was not using either their cooking menu or making frequent adjustments...only occasionally checking temp. You might want to check what else you have running in the background.

having said that, I have noticed that my S10 does use a little more battery than when I am monitoring my SF with my iPad...but attribute that to the battery size difference.
