Can't adjust temp from app

Cooking a loin and some peppers. When I choose grill control, oddly it shows deactivate smokeboost even though it isn't active. When I choose change target temp, it gives me a warning that I need to start the grill first. I rebooted my phone and get the same errors.

I started smokeboost from the grill. Then I tried to turn it off from the app and I get the same error.

Weber is aware of this issue on the new android update. Still works fine on IOS. Weber says they are actively working on a quick fix.
