Cleaned my EX 4 today

Smokefire ex 4, WSM 22, Weber Summit charcoal S6, Weber 22” kettle, Weber Summit natural gas grilling station, various Traegers, Camp Chef WW36, couple BGE’s, pit barrel cooker, and some other stuff
Well I did my semi annual cleanup today. Maybe it’s three times a year but I’m not counting. I’d say 1.5 ash pans full of fine ash. Scraped her down and then after I got it pretty clean with the putty knife and paint brush, I broke out the vacuum and got all the nooks and crannies. Took about 5-10 minutes. I suppose I should do it more frequently, but I never have any issues so I don’t see the point. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh, I shined up the exterior a bit too. 😁

Some do it more often and some don't.
I'm in the camp that does and I honestly don't mind since it takes so little time and have had zero failures.

At the end of the day, if it works for you then don't let anyone tell you otherwise :)
 
I used to clean after every 3 -4 cooks...not any more......It's probably been like 6-7 since the last vacuum clean up
 
I’m on the 30-50 cook schedule 😁
 
I did this last week myself… once a year deep clean, six month mark do a half-assed cleaning. LOL
