Cooking grate upgrades for EX6?

Has anyone upgraded their original grates to something nicer? What did you use and why? I’m a little bugged by the gap on each side of the grill grates in the EX6 model that allows the grates to slide around when cleaning them and sometimes during the cook when I try to flip something that stuck to the grill.

Anyone try using the gourmet grill system that fits on the Weber Summit series of grills?

I though I saw someone post a picture of some nice new gates, but I can’t find it now.

Yep. I ordered a set of the SS grates for the Spirit. They are a perfect fit!! EXCEPT...........You need THREE grates. You only get two...LOL.. I have to try to find another single one or order another set of two and have an extra.

One issue I see is the gap your talking about is probably going to be the same with the stainless steel grates since they are the same size. :-(
