Gasket Issues

Has anyone ever contacted Weber about the gaskets on the Smokefire especially the one on top of the ash drawer falling apart? Do they have a replacement part or upgrade or has anyone found something better?

Sure is. Maybe I didn't describe it right it is between the part that holds the ash drawer and the kettle.

Hmm, gets hot there…I haven’t noticed one, but my grill was put together when I bought it. And I’m too fat to bend down and look…lol

Are your referring to the "Felt" gasket ?

Yes. Mine keeps falling out. I keep pushing it back but I am sure it is not sealing anything anymore.

These questions kill me. Call Weber, email Weber I guarantee you they will send a replacement for any SmokeFire part that is not in good shape. Free!!! Just send good quality photos and a description, they WILL take care of you.

Yes they will send a replacement under warranty. I replaced mine this spring.
