My parents had a Weber kettle and when I got out of college and into my own place I had one as well. Eventually I switched to a gas grill at home but still had a kettle at our cabin. When we moved to North Carolina in 2009 we started with a Weber gas grill but purchased an XL Green Egg soon after as I missed the charcoal taste. That's been our main grill for the last 14 years but I'm getting the itch to try something different. With that in mind I've been interested in the Weber Searwood but would like to get feedback and experiences from the early adopters that have one. So far it looks promising.
