New EX6 question

Hello all. I received an EX6 direct from Weber and the production date is 3/24/2020. I was surprised by how old it was coming from the source.
Does anyone know if there are newer grills or if Weber updates their stock to the latest hardware prior to shipping?

the newest I could get locally was a feb build date so maybe there are no newer EX6s?

Same date as ours. Maybe they do production “runs” or maybe they just print a lot of stickers at once

Or maybe they were just really busy that day

In either case, if you call Weber, they’ll tell you that SmokeFires are being shipped with the current “updates”
