Smokefire E7 motor failure

Hey group. I returned my ex6 today. Multiple issues up to this that i didnt like but dealt with. Temps were uneven, sometimes the glow plug wouldn’t catch properly forcing a shutdown sequence and restart. But today i got a motor failure, auger failed to turn and immediately it shut down. Twenty minutes hold on weber to be told we can ship you a new motor but then i risk running past my return window.
Decided to Send it back to its maker, dirty from two pork butts and all.
No grease fires and no pellet feeding issues. But uneven temps, failure to start and a bad motor after teo weeks..... Time to buy a MAK 2 Star

From what I hear, Mak 2 is a good unit. I had to move on too. Hate that Weber is losing so much of our business, but hey....if you don't look out for number one, who else will?

Agreed, separately though a huge shout out for Lowes. Got a military discount even for a preorder and they are sending a truck to pick it up.
