Uneven heating

Early reports pointed to a uneven heating with the right side exhibiting more flame and heat. I haven't seen much on this issue recently. Has anyone figured out the cause and possible corrective action?

Early reports pointed to a uneven heating with the right side exhibiting more flame and heat. I haven't seen much on this issue recently. Has anyone figured out the cause and possible corrective action?

I noticed it on my first SmokeFire for sure. It is easily mitigated for grilling (Most charcoal and gas grills have some hot spots we all learn when learning our new grill) and can even be done for low and slow with a water pan or dry pan on the right side. I will check my new Smokefire when it arrives hopefully sooner than later.

I haven’t noticed it to be too extreme on my EX4 except the time I forgot to put one of the flavorizer bars back . I haven’t done any biscuit or bread tests though.
