Update software

Had several cooks and a six hour smoke since the new soft was released but haven’t gotten the update or if I did wasn’t notified. Any suggestions

Open app. Go to settings too right corner. Hit about device. This should tell you the status of your device I believe. I’m not at home so mine won’t show me because it’s off.

I’ve tried updating and am stuck here! Any thoughts?

I also had issues updating the software. I actually started up the grill, let it run for 10 minutes, then shut down. It started updating right afterwards.
