Burn Pot Burnout!

I've owned my Smokefire EX4 for 3 years now.
I just discovered I will need to put in my 4th burn pot. I don't use the grill that often and I don't go to high heat anymore because of the issue with the burn pots wearing out.
You guys going through burn pots?
I think I am out of warranty and while Weber was great about sending me new ones along with an igniter I'm thinking I will have to source my own.
Where do you guys get your parts? Weber is out of stock currently.

Well Weber customer service is as great as ever. They have a new burnpot on the way but not until after September 5th because they are on back order.
Are you guys going through burnpots very often?

I’ve had my ex4 Gen2 grill since 2021 and haven’t changed the burn pot. The heat diffuser, which sits right on top of it, is flaking a lot and has lost its little tab/feet, so I’m guessing it’ll last another year. The large flavorizer bar is also rusting along the edges.

The only parts that rusted within two years and were replaced under warranty were the two brackets holding the flavorizer bars. The new ones have been doing pretty well.

My grill is always outside, through rainy summers and snowy winters, with lots of trees losing leaves and needles in the fall or a lot of pollen in the spring. I have the original cover, which doesn’t have any holes but looks really dirty. I use it once a week during the summer and less in winter, depending on the amount of snow accumulation. I clean the ashes from the box once a month. I grill with a 50/50 mix of smoke and high-temperature grilling sessions.

Thanks for the response. OK, well I don't have any other corrosion issues. All other parts are original and show normal wear. I just go through burn pots. Now I am curious why.
