- Smokefire EXP4, Performer, go any were, Q200
As in the title my question is: Can I use heat resistance paint inside the smokefire?
I would like to paint the support brackets for the flavorizer bars, the firepod, the pelletslide and the
big cover that is over the firepod.
The paint itself is heat-resistant up to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit, so the ramp and the brackets should be fine, but the other part are in direct contact with the pelletfire.
Will it help protect the parts and will it last? But more important, will it create toxic fumes during the smoking session? That is what worries me the most.
