SmokeFire Gen2 EX4
I used my Smoke Fire only once and then cleaned it thoroughly. After cleaning it I turned it back on to ensure it was operating properly. Now two months later I go out to fire it up and NOTHING. I plugged it into a working outlet (yes I checked the outlet with another device to ensure it has power) and there was nothing on the display. I hit the big button and still nothing.

How do I get a replacement control panel? Anyone else experience this?

Did you check to make sure the power cord isn’t loose at the grill? Sometimes the cord, which plugs into a receptacle on the grill, comes loose on that end.

If nothing still, then I’d call Weber customer service.

Also there is a main power switch under the hopper. I assume this is in the on position.

Did you check the fuse by where the cord attaches. Mine just blew out the other day. Replaced fuse now I have power. I went to you tube for instructions.

As others have suggested, check the fast blow fuse located next to the on-off switch where the cord plugs in.

Exact same thing happened to my EX 6 last week. Blown fuse. Now, works like always!

1st- Check to be SURE the grill end of the cord is secure in the socket of the grill.
2nd - there is a high probability that you have blown the primary safety fuse. Located right by the power switch. Unplug the cord. Then, if you look carefully you will see a notch for a screwdriver. Wiggle it and there is a fuse holder that pops out.
See the fuse outline, it’s in there.

I just had the same issue on Saturday afternoon when I went to cook burgers for about, oh, 45 people at the first family reunion since 2019. Wish I had known this was a likely culprit. Tried two different known good cords and checked all connections etc. Still as dead as the cow parts I wanted to cook. I didn't have time to repair or troubleshoot and moved to the Gasser.

I wanted to move it to the street and let the trashman haul it away, but cooler heads prevailed

To my knowledge Weber pellets are unavailable near me, I generally use use Pit Boss. It worked perfectly and shut down properly last weekend. I will be checking today and calling Weber to gently b***h them out, because this thing is as wonky as my knees and hips from being a goalie since I was a kid, and that was a long time ago...

When the Smokefire is on and running good, it's amazing. But it shouldn't be a coin toss to see if it's gonna work. I heard Weber fired their CEO and if it's true, good. This product was not ready for the market.
