Did some pork belly for the first time.

Tried to follow Jeremy Yoders recipe for the marinated pork belly, soy sauce and mirin.

They came out pretty good. Obviously fatty and not something you necessarily make dinner, more a couple bites appetizer.

So this is a two-step process - yes (I don't know Yoders recipe)? That is - fully cook through on SF and then finish in frypan? Looks seriously good and a SOTM candidate for sure.

No I fried it for a little more texture. Once fried the kids went crazy for it.

Isn't that basically bacon? Sounds great.
