EX 4 Assembly

Got my EX 4 delivered (bit of an adventure there) and will Be assembling later today. Question: in reading different forums it seems as if certain modifications are popular and useful such as attaching the glow plug with a coupler or not installing the finger guard.

Any advice or comments?

I haven’t done either, and so far so good. Preparing to do a 16# packer brisket overnight...first long smoke.
