FINALLY

Bought this SmokeFire on feb 12. Could never sniff 600 degrees. Replaced the auger, manually loaded pellets. I tried everything to get that sucker over 500 degrees and couldnt. Had set it up to return it to BBQ Guys. Decided to upload the firmware as a last shot before the return. IT HIT 600!!!! I could not believe it. Almost 2 months and it finally happened. I adjusted the temp from there to various levels after that and kept cranking it back up to 600 and it had no issues getting back there. So maybe Weber really does know what they are doing here. I’m super hopeful that further updates will make this work even better. My faith in Weber has been restored a bit.

Nice! I think they are shipping me the new welded auger. She didn't say specifically just that it's different than the rev F they sent last time. I have the latest firmware and software updates. Does anyone think doing a reset back to stock and redoing the software updates would make a difference for hitting 600?
