Figured 'dI share some recent SF food porn. First up a 3-bone Beef Plate Rib. 275* on the upper rack. Think it was on there for 5.5-6hr with no wrap.

Next for Mothers Day figured I'd make my own Mega "McRib" Sandwich. This was a rack of Babybacks that I cooked at 275* on the upper rack for 2hr...then wrapped in foil and cooked for about another 1h45m @ 275*…brought them in and popped the bones out with zero effort, put some sauce on and back on the EX6 for about 15min. After that, it came in and went on a loaf of sourdough with dill pickles, white onions, BBQ sauce and a little Mayo. Pretty damn good I must say. The completed sandwich pic only shows about 2/3 of the total sandwich size. Put it along side a little arugula salad with Strawberry's, red onion, and a home made Raspberry vinaigrette.

When the damn thing works, it works real good! And it looks like it is working for you.

Yes it does....before the recent firmware i was having concerns and issues and was doing lots of testing and reporting back to Weber. The update came out mid testing so I re-did one of the test and it showed improvement...since then I've just been using it and it hasn't given me any cause for concern since the update.

Awesome! I’ve gotta do the “McRib” riff. Yum.
