Genesis II SA-E-330
Hi,
Web
Been cooking all my life (I'm 66), much of it outdoors. I have 5 cookers on my deck, 3 of them are Weber products, a Weber Q 2000, a Weber Performer (circa 2002) and a new Genesis SA-E-330 from Ace Hardware. I had a Weber Genesis Silver B from years ago that lasted 18 years. Had a Sabre infrared for the last 8 years, hated it, got the new Genesis II, which I love.

I have a 36" griddle (not Weber) a barrel smoker (not Weber) but the grill that gets the most use is the Weber Q (kids raised, just the wife and me) but I think the Weber Genesis is my new favorite.

Cheers,

John

Oh, and I just got a rotisserie for the Weber Kettle which I plan on using this weekend. Weber is the best!

It really is. My original Genesis was still going strong after 18 years, I just wanted to try infrared. This may be the last grill I ever buy. The new burner design is money!

I'll probably pick one up next year. Still deciding if I want to go the griddle route with either the Weber or Traeger stand alone griddle, or the Genesis with the griddle insert.

I do have a 36" griddle, but a Pit Boss, got a couple years ago before the Weber came out. It's hard to go wrong on one, it's just a flat piece of steel with burners underneath, not nearly as complex as the Genesis grills. Blackstone, Pit Boss, Weber, Camp Chef, probably not a lot of difference. Still, the Webers are very well regarded.

For the wife and me, the griddle insert on the Genesis is fine. I'm keeping the Pit Boss, though, as it is so much better for entertaining.
