- Smokefire EX6, 22in WSM, Grill Cart with Weber Kettle
I am new to the SF, a little over a month now. Today I had a pellet clog and the temp dropped. I searched and could not find a way to have the SM notify me when the temp drops around 100 degrees. I believe my only solution is to use my Maverick heat probe and set it up for the SF. Seems like a viable solution but I wish Weber would add that feature to the app with the ability to turn it on or off. Has anyone found a better solution? I did search the forum for a solution and this is the first time it has happened to me. I probably have close to 15 cooks on the SF now.
Todays cook is pork chops and a mystery meat, my own stupidity for not labeling the baggie, which turned out to be decent size pieces of a beef brisket.
Overall I am happy with the SF but I continue to use my WSM and Kettle. Kind of nice to have 3 grills and a griddle on my Patio setup.
