Need help

Have an ex4 second gen for 3 years with no problems until today.
The auger isn't delivering enough pellets. The smoker starts to heat up but after about a 10 degree start the temp starts dropping. The fire pit is almost empty of pellets and there are not enough dropping to sustain or increase temps. The glow plug seems to be ok it just seems the auger isn't delivering enough pellets. I only use Weber pellets. Anyone any answers??

Have you removed and cleaned the auger to make sure not plugged up with pellet dust?

Thank you forum! I guess I add remove and clean auger on my cleaning schedule. I followed the advise and can say it fixed my issue. Now into over the top chili!

A little off topic but has any one figured out the water in the ash collection tray. Happens to me frequently. Grill is covered and insides are totally dry. Not a big problem but annoying.

If you are using the Weber cover, I've had the same problem. It is water resistant - but not water proof. I'm looking for something better. Currently thinking about the Covers & All cover that claims to be water proof. I haven't bought anything as yet, but my current Weber cover is showing signs of deterioration. Any others have suggestions?

Good advice Abmet, I was amazed how clogged my auger got after a winter.
