EX4
Hello everyone, my first foray into pellet grilling. I currently ( as im sure most of you do ) have a gas grill and a charcoal.
One of them would have to go , but the jury is out as to which. Love the convenience of gas but charcoal grilling always comes out way better.

Still learning and grateful for this forum as a resource.

Enjoy the journey. Welcome aboard.

I got into my EX4 under pretty much the same circumstances. I have found the EX4 easily replaced my Spirit E-330 gas for those cooks I used it for (that won't apply to everyone). I am keeping my kettle because, as you said, sometimes charcoal just can't be beat AND because I have the rotisserie rig for it and I am a huge rotisserie fan. So my vote would be ditch the gasser and keep the kettle.

Appreciate your feedback. The gasser is a 6yo beat up Kenmore that i bought brand new when i moved into our house. It will most likely be the one that we will be saying goodbye to. Charcoal has its merits , the searing power etc so i dont see it being replaced by the SF.
That kettle of yours sounds awesome with a rotisserie rig on it. I got the SF this week and used it once, so i am not close to making that decision yet.

Thanks everyone. Not sure if i like three canvas covered things sitting in my backyard ( live in the city so my backyard is not the biggest ) But i think i can justify keeping all three. No complaints yet from the wife.

My wife has no complaints because she likes the food that comes off the grills. And that I take care of all of it. YMMV.

Thanks. I take care of my stuff , and the family has no complaints about my grilled food either so fingers crossed. Once i can add low and slow to my belt , i might get more leverage :)
