Notifications

After this last update, I noticed on my phone, in the ap...an option to receive notifications through WiFi. I chose to do through WiFi. Twice now I have shut down the SmokeFire and driven off and 3 miles away my phone notified me it was ok to power off now. The second I was like 10 miles away. I have an iPhone, and don’t know if this would have happened before the update, or if it has anything to do with the WiFi option. If anyone knows?

I think it would have happened before since notifications for iPhones are done through cloud server. As long as grill is connected to WiFi you should be able to get notifications and view/adjust temp when outside of Bluetooth range.

It has worked that way for a while.
