SmokeFire EX4
I have been skeptical about Smokefires ability at 600 f. So, I purchased Weber’s pizza stone.
I found a recipe online, Trader Joe’s sells pre made dough. Made some sauce, grated some cheese, spilt open some Italian sausage links....
it took less than 15 minutes to come to temp.
The actual cooking time was 14 minutes. (I thought it would go faster). I would be interested in other pizza makers.

That look delicious! Well done. I haven’t tried pizza yet...key word...yet

Definitely love doing pizza on the SmokeFire. I like to make my own dough and sauce. Have some pretty simple recipes I use.

Sauce is super simple
28 ounce can of San Marzano crushed or chopped tomatoes (I use crushed)
1 tablespooon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic minced
4 whole basil leaves (I use fresh)
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or more based on taste

Put all in saucepan and bring to boil, then stir, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.

Pizza Dough
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons instant yeast
1 cup lukewarm water
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil

Stir flour, salt, and yeast together in bowl
combine water, honey, and olive oil and then stir into the flour mixture. If is too dry add small amounts of water at a time.
kneed dough on floured surface adding flour as needed to prevent sticking
kneed until smooth, not sticky, and springs back like pillow when make indention. Usually 4 to 5 minutes or so
cover in bowl and let rise at room temperature until double in size (generally around an hour depending on temp)

Mine is very similar.......except I use oregano instead of basil.
