Rec-Tec seems to have a great following and I've read/watched many great reviews on their Pellet Grills. Any former Rec-Tec owners switching to the Smokefire?

I was contemplating either Traeger or Rec-Tec before seeing the SmokeFire announcement. I had pretty much settled on Traeger because I could pick it up locally but I saw a lot of good things about Rec-Tec. They do seem to have a good following and good products. Ultimately I deci to grab the SmokeFire when I saw my local Lowe’s had 3 in stock the day they were finally released. I was a little concerned about buying a first gen product but since it was Weber I decide to go for it. If was a smaller company I probably would have waited or gone with the Traeger.

So many choices it can get confusing. This is my first smoker. Looked at so many (within my price range). Let us know how the Smokefire works for you. I really hope it does. We see and hear about all of the problems but I also see some folks that are not having the issues and love them.
