Rusted inside ledges

While waiting on a way to source flavor bars and grill grate, the inside ledge/ridge on which the flavor bars rest literally disintegrated from rust. Any ideas or options?

I think this is a common problem. Weber sent me new ones under warranty.

I agree. I would think as these grills age more and more aftermarket parts will become available.

Had mine replaced last month under warrant, rust and crumbling along the edges. Must be a better material to make them from than the current version?

Weber has some replacement parts online already - especially the 'burn system kit'. To me this is a must have shelf item for the future.

Yup… I have replaced both of mine for the same reason … just go to Weber.com and there is a BOT you can talk to .. they will send new ones .. they will probably ask for a picture of the rusted one
