Searwood 600
Hi everyone. Hope yall are well. I’m new to the forum. I have a searwood 600. If I set the smoker at a higher temperature (for ex 300) and I want to go back down to a lower temperature (for ex 200), the pellet grill starts increasing temperature way past 300 instead of going down. I have to open the lid and let it cool off before it stabilizes. Is this normal? Thank for any help.

My 600 does that also. Plus yesterday while smoking ribs the temperature was all over the place. I have opened a case with Weber and waiting to see what they say. I think the controller is bad.
