Slate 36” Warping

Hello everyone,

For those of you that have a 36” Slate, have you seen this warping when it gets up above 300 degrees? Note in the attached pic that the middle section of the griddle top is lower than the edges. This results in the front center being hotter than the edges. Just trying to figure out if I need to contact customer service.

Btw, it will return to a fairly uniform state once it cools down.

Mine hasn’t warped but I have only had it for about 3 months. I let it warm up for about 10 min with all burners on low before cranking it up. I also keep all burners at the same level only because I haven’t needed different heat zones for my purposes so far.
