About half way through a beer can chicken I got a temperature drop notice. Checked the pellets and seemed ok. About ten minutes later the temperature came back and had a perfectly cooked chicken. But a little unnerving. Any advice.

Probably a pellet void and the beginning of a flame out which caused the temp to drop but then the void cleared and went back to normal.
Do you still have the finger guard in?

What does "bridging pellets" mean? I just got my EX4 and this has happened 3 of the 4 times I have used it. I was not using weber pellets but now I will get some.

The pellets get caught up in the hopper and stop falling into the auger.
It can happen in any pellet grill but in the SF, it can happen when the finger guard is left in the hopper or can be caused by your choice of pellet.

I hat that we have to use certain pellets but I know it really makes a difference.
I am currently trying to get my hands on some cabellas brand pellets it is my understanding they are made by the same company. At half the price I hope they work.

Weber, Lumberjack and Cabela's pellets are all made by GLRE at their Hayward, WI plant.
