Tritip how to

I'm new to this forum and would like to learn how to cook a tritip on my SmokeFire EX 4.
 
Set SF to 200, run tri- tip to 105-110. Pull lit off crank SmokeFire to 550 put tri tip on for 3-4 minutes a side.
Pull it at 135. Let it rest,
Drink a beer and enjoy.

Highly recommended!! @Bruno won a SOTM badge this way, if I remember correctly.
 
I've done mine at 225°; pull at 115°, turn up heat to 500", 2-3 mins per side to 135°. Don't go past 145°. I do 145° if someone wants medium. If you want rare, then pull around 110^ and finish to 125-130°. I've used competition blend as well as hickory.
