Uneven heating Searwood 600

I know it’s pretty common among most grills, but this is significant. The right side (when facing the grill) actually achieves nice sear marks. The left side has no color, it almost looks boiled. What gives? Is something possibly installed incorrectly?

Not sure on the Searwood, but on the SmokeFire the position of the heat deflector could impact the hot spots. Mine was always hotter on the right too but not as drastic as you described.
