When to unplug

Just purchased/assembled my new Searwood 600XL. Looking forward to the doing my first burn and eventual 1st cook.

While I under that you need to “Shutdown” after every cook, after that can I simply unplug the until before I put it into storage?

Is there a way to safely unplug the unit?

I would say you should be fine unplugging as long as the shutdown process has completed. If you wait about 5 minutes after the shutdown process is done, the control interface will automatically power down completely.. that is usually when I unplug mine. Hope this helps.
