Looks fun but my garage is full of BBQ crap, my wife would lose her shit if I tried to pull that off.Took the week off and making a wheat beer today. Any of you also homebrewers too?

Excellent! I started around 14 years ago.I've been homebrewing for 6 years. Cheers
Sounds like great times. we did a group brew once a few years ago where few people brought there gear over and we all brewed at same time. Had some beers and BBQ and definitely could have used someone looking out for time towards the end.Pre-pandemic my wife's side of the family would brew 6-8 5 gallon batches about 3-4 times / year. Its something I hope we get back to soon as it was usually a good family party event. I don't drink beer but I like the chemistry aspects of it and someone has to be sober enough to keep the timings down for the rest of the crew.

Nice setup! i used to have a 10 gal setup kind of like that, fully automated heating. Sold it off, now I've got a picobrew i'm still figuring out how to use w/o their service. Really need to get back into the hobby.Took the week off and making a wheat beer today. Any of you also homebrewers too?

Definitely do. I’ve slowed down some last couple years and want to get more consistent. I had some plans to go more automated and either RIMS or HERMS but wasn’t brewing enough to justify the costs. Maybe someday.Nice setup! i used to have a 10 gal setup kind of like that, fully automated heating. Sold it off, now I've got a picobrew i'm still figuring out how to use w/o their service. My old system was a RIMS, i built it out with some PIDs to control the RIMS tube and the HLT gas burner. I think if i was to get back into larger scale (> 1 gal) i'd get the Blichmann brew easy setup. seems compact and reliable.Definitely do.
