Cleaning your SmokeFire grates?

Anyone have an easy trick for cleaning up the grill grates? I brought them to my laundry room sink last time and it made a pretty big mess.

Would love a solution that is both easy and not too messy. LOL

Heat and a grill brush (or a ball of foil) has always worked for me.

I don't keep mine "sparkling" so I agree with Goneincognito. I use a grill brush after preheating and knock off the majority of the junk. Silver grates aren't necessary.

I bought this and while it smelled good it didn’t really get the grill grates as clean as I was hoping. Thx
