E10 error

Seems very unlikely but all my extention cords are up to standard CE classification. Anyway, just did the burnoff on my new pellet grill, Pit Boss Titan. Worked like it should work, happy so far.

It’s really nothing to do with CE standards, it’s about can the wire gauge carry the voltage and amperage without loss. The heavier gauge of wire the less loss you have. The Rectec grill I mentioned gets to 1250 degrees. When you are getting that hot you are pulling alot more current and any loss of amperage will mess with the electronics.
May not have anything to do with the E10 issue but my new Searwood comes in today and I made sure I have an extension cord that is 10awg.

It's 1.5*3 and that is 14 gauge if I'm correct. That's the standard requirement for an extention cord here. I don't think that the E10 error is caused by the extention cord (I only use a cord of 10 meters), if that were the case, everybody here would have that issue.
What I think happened is a false contact somewhere, either in the internal cables or board that happens when the grill gets hot. We will never know as the service from Weber was so bad, we never got to the point of actually analysing the problem. Perhaps there was an easy fix, perhaps not, we will never know. But the way I was treated by Weber (Belgium) was so bad, I don't want to work with them no more. That's why I moved to Pit Boss.

I hope you get a good one and have lots of fun using it (y)
