New SmokeFire EX6 owner

Hi All,

Just got my new EX6 here in Coastal North Carolina. I've been watching this play out for some time and I'm ready to jump in work with Weber and other customers on finding any needed solutions. I think overall its a good design. Sounds like they are doing a good job of getting the problems resolved. I'm a little annoyed with some of youtubers I used to watch who just called it junk and went and got a Rec Teq or something else. Something doesn't smell right about that.

Welcome! I have the smaller EX4, have never had a problem after roughly 50 uses, and find it one of the most versatile smoker/grills I have ever used. Since I also have a WSM and a Summit 670, that is saying quite a lot.

Plus, their product support is second to none.

Thanks, I just posted in the Weber Talk forum about my initial thoughts on the EX6. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up loving this thing. If there are a few bumps in the road getting there, I think Weber will make it right. They appear to be trying hard to get this thing ironed out.
