SOTM SmokeFire Forums - September 2020 Smoke of the Month!

Ladies and Gents, it's time for the September Smoke of the Month contest! Now's the time to get outside and fire up your SmokeFire and cook up your favorite meal. This is a win/win type of contest. We get to see all of the awesome photos of your cooks, and you get to eat the results!

How do I enter?

1. Post in this thread 1 photo of your favorite cook on the SmokeFire. The photo included must be your photo! It's not required, but we prefer the photo to include your username (on a piece of paper, napkin, etc, be creative!)
2. Include a simple write up of the recipe along with cooking instructions.
3. We will leave the contest thread open for 7 days and close it September 10th @ 3:00 EST.
4. After that we will open up the voting and allow the community to vote for the winner!

The winner's photo will be featured on our website and receive a special "Smoke of the Month" badge!

Ok here’s my entry. Hollowed out into a bowl shape, 5 large onions. Stuffed with seasoned ground beef. Wrapped with bacon. 350 give or take about 1.5 hours, til meat registered 155. Sprinkled chipotle Tabasco sauce, basted with Kroger Carolina bbq sauce. Let go about 15 minutes, then added shredded cheddar on top. P.S. Doing a meatloaf too.

Nice!! I'm doing mine on Monday. Still no clue what I'm cooking tho lol I tried to get my hands on some A5 japanese wagyu pichana. Had a pretty good idea for that but the company doesn't ship provincial due corona So back to the drawing board lol

You guys are good!! I don’t think I’ll get anything done this weekend, I have to work on a shutdown at a local lab. We have to get their steam system up and running so they can do their thing.
