Glad to hear. Mine is a gen 2, 2.5 years old now, everything is original and have done no modifications, including glow plug and the chute wire. It’s being used all year round in MA. I cover it with the Weber cover but that’s it, there’s no roof, no canopy. It gets a bit of water under the ash chute after a heavy rain, not sure why or how. (Now that I wrote this it will start falling apart…)
