Weber SmokeFire Won’t Hold Temp

My Weber Smoke Fire is failing to hold its temp after it reached temp. The screen says that the temp is holding but it is not - evidenced by turning the temp up - which results in a new reading of the internal temp and a rapid fall in the reading subsequently.

The latest software is up to date. The pellet auger is working fine.

Please help.

Have you removed the finger guard if you have one? Secondly are you using Weber pellets or at least the small diameter alternatives? Lastly, are you sure the pellets haven’t bridged down in the hopper and that they are properly feeding into the pot? You should be able to hear them and I would press down above the auger fairly aggressively to make sure the pellets aren’t hung up. Good luck.
