Blacked out stainless, light integrated into the handle and beefier casters.
There may be more but this is all I know.

Ok. But I think it's possibly showing us Weber is committed to the Smokfire. And hopefully we'll be able to get the better casters as well

I'm excited but hope they don't screw up the things that make the Smokefire so great. It's not always easy to retain the good qualities while improving others. Incremental change. Looking forward to it though.

Not too sure about that.

The only issues, since the auger upgrade, I have had with my Smokefire has been software related.

Same here JpsBBQ but it'll be interesting to see what improvements they make. And I agree - a lot can be done via the software so I hope they keep that development work going on there.

They have redone the burn pot to a better material and done something to the glow plug assembly that they will be using in units moving forward but I'm unsure if it will be in this one.
I'm guessing we will get these as a warranty replacement also if needed.
