Well, it looks like Weber has taken the wobbly stand issue very seriously:

They are replacing all Kamado E6 grills free of charge and will be shipping a new grill with a redesigned stand.
From what I can gather from other sources, it will attach differently to the body of the grill, which is why it's a complete grill swap and not just a new stand. The stand will be very similar to the original summit charcoal stand, which I'm pretty happy about.
It will also have larger 4" wheels which all have locking mechanisms for stability.
It does make me wonder how things like this get past testing, but at least they are doing the right thing and fixing it. It's why I never have an issue buying from Weber, you can trust that you are in good hands.
