Hi. I am thinking of buying a new gen 2 vs a significantly cheaper used gen 1 where the upgrades from Weber are installed (new hopper and auger). Is there any differences between the updated gen 1 vs new gen 2? Will the updated gen 1 work as flawlessly as the gen 2?

I believe so in your location. Neither has them standard in US.

I have a gen one with the gen 2 upgrades. No gourmet. Works very well. No issues. Cheaper is better imo. More money for grilling accessories…lol
